Growing up as a lover of scotch tape and glue guns, Matt has always had the desire to create. Whether he was having fun with popsicle sticks or Lego, his imaginative mind allowed him to express himself creatively at a young age. When mountain biking replaced Lego, Matt's passion for filmmaking was revealed.

Known for both his commercial work in the cycling community and his viral success on YouTube, Matt has established himself as an outside the box thinker. Some of his most memorable work is conceived from a combination of his experience in action sports cinematography and his quirky sense of humour. Across all platforms, his videos have been seen over 54 million times. His combined experience in outdoor and studio cinematography, music videos, viral comedy and commercial work make his skills valuable to any client.

But he still plays with Lego.

Few people realize that road superstar Peter Sagan got his start in mountain biking. In 2009, he was teammates with Marco Fontana on the Cannondale Factory Racing team. Filmed in the Tuscan Hills of Italy, this video received 700,000 views over four months.

Rad Santa was a christmas card created for Rocky Mountain Bicycles. This film is another great example of Matt's ability to write, direct, shoot and edit as a one-man team. The video was enjoyed by the community, receiving a collective 200,000 views.

What started off as a boredom project in senior year of high school has become a life-changing venture for two class clowns. IFHT, a duo of Matt Dennison and Jason Lucas is a comedy YouTube channel producing and directing sketches and music videos. With an emphasis on quality and high production value they have garnered over 32 million views and 162,000 subscribers. Over the past years, IFHT has acquired tremendous viral success, which has given them amazing global media exposure. IFHT has been featured in several newspapers, online publications, as well as provincial and national news programs. The "How to be" series, which pokes fun at niche cultures such as road bikers, hockey players and volleyball players has been a huge success and has received attention from local and nation-wide brands. Their biggest viral hit to date entitled "If Diablo 3 Were A Girl" has received 10.3M views.

Sometimes videos do well when you aren't expecting it. What started off as a pillow thought became an overnight sensation and an IFHT classic. Not only did the video receive 800,000 views, thousands of copies of the song itself have sold on iTunes.

PUT IT IN YOUR PANTS AND DANCE

 

Although one of their most bizarre videos, this was one of IFHT's favourite to create. Shot at the YouTube Space LA during the Creator Accelerator invite-only program. IFHT was given a $500 budget to create a video and this is what they did.
